What a President should do.

Obama and Hillary are full of ideas and have been free to put them out there as extemporaneous as ever.    It’s as if they made those ideas up on the way on stage pushing back the curtain and into the limelight of cheering delirious youthful crowds of paid off college students, who prefer that excitement to the dull lectures of class.

Ellis Washington has some ideas of his own if he were elected  President, and these are even more exciting to Americans as they really mean real effectual change from our status quo of compounding problems over the past 2 decades.   Link.

If I were to become president, I would solemnly promise the American people that I would do four things: First, using Israel’s border wall with the Palestinians as my paradigm, I would immediately build a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico to stem the tide of drugs and illegal aliens. I would include a $250 finder’s fee for every illegal alien turned in by an American (a $250 fine if your info is wrong).

This policy will secure our borders, make society much safer for Americans and create thousands of new jobs by shipping these criminals back to their countries of origin. To direct this project, I would appoint Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio to be my czar of homeland security and change his title from “Czar” to “Sheriff.” (Sheriff sounds more American to me.)

Second, following FDR’s model during World War II, I would declare martial law against our present energy crisis and move five battalions of military forces to the following areas: Anwar, Alaska, off the coasts of Florida, Louisiana and California, and inside designated sections of Colorado.

I would do this to guard oil workers drilling for oil and to keep environmental radicals at bay. I would also build at least 200 oil refineries across America using non-union prison labor and, like France and most all European countries, supplement at least 50 percent of our current energy usage with nuclear power.

Third, to help pay for proposals 1 and 2, I would de-fund the Department of Education and the Department of Commerce, remove the compulsory education requirement after grade 8 (It has never worked anyway: Detroit has a 75 percent dropout rate with compulsory education) and allow the free market to regulate itself.

Four, in the name of America’s sovereignty and national and international security, I would shut down the United Nations. Relying upon my new sheriff, Joe Arpaio, I would send in security forces to purge that building of every U.N. bureaucrat and ship them (and their flags) the hell out of America within a year of my taking office.

If I survived impeachment – or assassination – I would run for office again, and I guarantee you that I would win a 49-state landslide victory, as Reagan did in 1984.

Enjoyed it, then read some more from the pen of Ellis Washington.

Is Islam compatible with a republic?

Why does the left so hate America?

Why blacks vote against their own interests

You’re rebate is on the way.

What are you going to use that economic stimulus rebate for?   Coming your way soon, up to $600 per individual and $1200 per couple and $300 for each dependent child will be on the way shortly, just in time for . . . what?

The cost of filling you vehicle(s) is escalating.

The cost of groceries is escalating.

The cost of everything seems to be heading toward the ceiling.

And our democrat congress has the impertinence to make statements such as this by Charles Schumer D-NY:  “It’s galling to think that taxpayers’ stimulus checks will be lining the pockets of OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries). The sad truth is that the average American family will spend almost their entire stimulus check on higher gas prices this year.”   “Unless the administration gets OPEC to increase oil supply, American consumers are going to be in for a scorching summer of $4 gasoline with no relief in sight.”

Hey, Schumer, you got the part of consumers spending their rebates on gas correct.   We probably will spend it on gas and food, and a possible long vacation to get away from it all.   People will take gaming trips to Las Vegas too.  And, people will plunk down a bunch on lottery tickets, also.  People will get drunk as a skunk too.   Some will decide to pay down their consumer debts.   Some will just save it for that rainy day caused by congress.   As for me and mine, we’ll use it on that long vacation.

But why is all this necessary?

Schumer, you idiot, you won’t recognize, nor accept the fact that this is all the fault of congress and previous administrations, as they have hamstrung the oil industry and empowered the environmentalists.   It’s because you guys in congress have tightened the belt on the oil companies so tight they can’t breath without the EPA puffing smoke at their efforts to get consumers more gas. . . to get more of the stuff produced right here . . . in America . . . instead of over there somewhere.

Have you seen some of the pictures of what they are building in Dubai

We can’t drill in ANWAR.  Can’t drill off the coasts.  Can’t build more refineries.  Can’t do this or that without some bureaucrat from the fish and wildlife service finding a mussel, a fox, a bear, or a turkey that needs protection, and we are told that even butterflies are getting killed by windmills.   In the gulf it’s the retirement turkeys screaming “it will spoil my view.”   In the liberal north east coast, it’s the rich bearcats on Nantucket screaming “not in my backyard.”  In Alaska, it’s the environmentalists screaming about the habitat of a half dozen polar bears while the native people are saying to the oil companies “come on up.”

On top of all this “U.S. Representative John Dingell (D-MI), the chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, has called for a 50 cent per gallon increase in the gas tax.”

It’s beyond time folks to get rid of these anti-Americans, anti-capitalists, anti-free market liberals, all of them has-been’s left over from the hippie generation.    Send them all packing.

Unemployment down in Oklahoma, up everywhere else. Why is that?

“The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday reported unemployment in Oklahoma had fallen to 3.1 percent in March, down from 4 percent in March last year, while unemployment nationwide was 5.1 percent, up from 4.4 percent in March last year.”

Why?

What’s going on in Oklahoma that is not being experienced by the rest of the country?

It’s Simple.

“That state is experiencing the most dramatic reduction in unemployment since 2007, an improvement many in Oklahoma attribute to the passage last year by the state legislature of a strong employment-focused immigration reform law.”   More . . .

It is called HB 1804.

And now the State is going a step further by making English the official language of the State.

“First, the bill will prevent the state from being compelled to provide taxpayer-subsidized services in any language other than English.”

Second, the two lawmakers said making English the official language “avoids all of the cost, burden and conflict” associated with bilingualism and multilingualism.

“Bilingualism and multilingualism are inherently divisive,” Terrill said. “Just look at the Canadian province of Quebec for a case study. In Quebec, you have a cultural and linguistic minority that routinely threatens to separate from the rest of the nation.”

There are approximately 120 separate languages spoken in Oklahoma, Terrill said, and only 21 of those languages are spoken by more than 1,000 individuals. Research indicates more than 100,000 people in Oklahoma (age 5 and up) have limited English proficiency.

“If we don’t make English the official language, the state could be forced to hire translators fluent in all 120 languages and in sufficient numbers to staff all state offices,”

Now perhaps those jobs that Americas would not do are being done by American citizens, as the illegal aliens have left to do the jobs that Americans won’t do elsewhere.

The economy of college students. Textbooks or birth control pills.

What a challenging situation our college students are facing.

Students and Celebrities Lobby Congress to Lower the Price of the Pill

According to recent data compiled by The American College Health Association, nearly 35 percent of college students reported that they or a partner used oral contraceptives to prevent pregnancy the last time they had sex.

Birth-control advocates worry the price increase could put contraceptives out of reach of some women and lead to unwanted pregnancy.

The price increase is forcing some college students to make tough choices.

These kids are now having to choose between buying a textbook or paying for their birth control pills.   Choices all the time.   It’s just not fair.  Gee whiz, a kid might end up pregnant if she chose to buy the textbook instead of investing in her freedom.

But now Congress is getting involved.   It’s called the Prevention Through Affordable Access Act.

“I’m hopeful and reasonably confident that we’ll be able to get this done,” Stabenow said. She pointed to the support of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., as a positive sign.

Planned Parenthood believes it has the support of 30 senators and 170 congressmen  “It’s incredibly unfair to take away the ability for colleges to receive donated medicines or reduced price contraception,” Stabenow said. “There is no good reason to want to add costs to college students who are struggling enough to make ends meet.”

That’s our democrat controlled Congress working on the really very important things.

Liberals really do believe in War.

Liberal want to win this war, but a real war about freedom, the militarily fought war against Islamic fascism is a war they would rather quit.

GreenTime Mag

Liberals would rather give up freedoms.

Liberals are not interested in preserving our way of life, our culture, our Judeo-Christian heritage, our precious personal freedoms as guaranteed by our Bill of Rights and Constitution.

No, Liberals would rather insult our brave heroic veterans who daily make personal sacrifices and lay their life on the line to defend this unique experiment called the United States of America, the greatest nation ever.

These ungrateful liberals replace the American Flag with a tree.

Their new religion is Global Warming.

Liberals run our educational system, and our kids are getting indoctrinated from pre-K and up through College.

Liberals run the mainstream media and everyone in America is getting indoctrinated on the inconvenient truths while they scare everyone about not going green.

Liberals run the entertainment industry and everyone in America is getting indoctrinated in the dangers of climate change, the romance of bringing some cool green eco-entertainment news to the masses along with Disney too.

Big corporations and small businesses are promoting the green thing because there is money to be made by going green, it’s just makes good business sense.

Even some Christian organizations and evangelicals are turning green rather than promoting the shed red blood of the gospel.

And what is it all about?  It’s a series of fabricated theories appealing to those who have letters after their names, a new religion to get excited about, just as Darwin made up theories which appealed to atheists.

So, when the war on Islamic fascism is lost you’ll still have a tree to hug and the liberals will have won their war.

Hamas offers Israel a truce. Ha Ha Ha

Published by Arnie under Israel, Islamic things, THE War

No, really, Hamas is serious this time, or was it the last time, no this time they really do mean it . . . for ten years, or so.

Hamas leader offers truce if Israel withdraws from 1967 lands

But, and then there is this . . . “the group would never outright formally recognize Israel.”

No Israeli response, but U.S. rejects it as ‘no change’

Duh!

Our former Prez, that Carter idiot with liberal dementia, says he had a hand in negotiating this very important peace truce . . . for awhile . . . until . . . otherwise.

Yes siree, we’ll see peace in the middle east when all the Muslims leave to go get their 72 virgins.

Oil going uppity up up and up, but why?

Published by Arnie under Energy, Environmental

OIL NEARS $117 A BARREL …

And our “friends” the Saudis are balking at increasing production. So while they continue to screw with us on oil … let’s be sure to respond here in this country by:

  1. Refusing to drill in ANWR for more oil in the very portion of ANWR that was set aside for the purpose of drilling for more oil.
  2. Refuse to tap the known reserves of oil and natural gas off the West coast of Florida because, after all, we certainly don’t want tourists in Florida to catch sight of a drilling rig 25 miles off shore now do we?
  3. Refuse to develop ways to use the oil shale from the Western United States.
  4. Refuse to develop coal gasification techniques.
  5. Refuse to build any more refineries in the United States.
  6. Listen to the anti-nuke moonbats and continue to delay building some nuclear power plants.

And while we’re doing all of these things let’s make sure to keep the subsidies for ethanol at a ridiculous high so that we can take more land out of food production to grow more corn to be turned into an alternative fuel. We burn more than a gallon of fossil fuels to produce a gallon of ethanol .. so this sounds like a good bet to me!

Oh … and let’s continue to call the Saudis our friends and kiss their sandy butts at every possible opportunity.

When Neal Boortz says it, then that’s good enough for me.

Government hopes and solutions. . "talks about talks".

Emerging so-called catastrophes are driving politicians, bureaucrats and officials to find solutions to the human problem of life in the 21st century.  They try everything and hope something works.   Rarely does the solution provide hope, they just end up being talk about talks.

Housing-Credit Woes Spur Calls for More Federal Regs.

“This rush to regulate also was apparent in the recent crackdown on the airlines, resulting in thousands of grounded flights for safety inspections as the government beefs up its enforcement of existing laws. There have been mounting proposals for tougher government rules to address climate change. High corporate salaries have come under attack on Capitol Hill, as have oil industry profits and rising food costs.”

Nothing Stopping Oil Prices From Rising: IEA

Record oil of $117 a barrel calls for a demand response and a supply response, but for now there is little to stop prices heading still higher, the deputy executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Saturday. - - -  “We need both a demand response and a supply response,” said William Ramsay on arrival in Rome for talks between energy producers and consumers.

Moms and Young Children From Texas Ranch to Be Parted.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Adult mothers who have been allowed to stay with their young children since they were taken from a polygamous sect will be separated from them after DNA sampling is completed next week, a child welfare official said Saturday.

Bali climate change talks: ‘The long, arduous road’ to nowhere?

The lack of reporting about the conference may not a problem in the rest of the media, but most of the articles caution against high expectations of any tangible results coming out of the gathering of 190 nations.  “This is just talks about talks,”  “despite all the earnest blather”, politicians are simply not acting “like they mean it” when it comes to climate change. - - - Instead of putting their own national interests at risk, the politicians will “change some light bulbs and subsidize some wind turbines … (to) pretend they’re taking action,” agrees Wente.  - - -  Ultimately, the consumers will be the ones who’ll bear the cost, but this has been “the most promising evidence” there will be any real progress on climate change . . .

Governments the world over hope to make things better for the masses, but only manage to regulate light bulbs causing prices to rise and hardships for the poor, or require corn to be used for fuel causing prices to rise and hardships for the poor, or regulate the refining of oil causing prices to rise and hardships for the poor, and then a solution to eradicate poverty is needed.     In the meantime, as if to get the people supportive of big government rules and regulations and how much they really care, they invades the privacy of a peaceful “minding their own business” religious ranch in Texas because of a unsubstantiated suspicion of a suspicious wrong by seemingly happy contented people to happy well-behaved peaceful children.

These same government bureaucrats and politicians want us to believe that the solution to the health care crisis should be more government control and regulations.

I like that phrase: “talks about talks.”

I say, let them talk about talks all they want.   We the people, the masses are so much better off when governments get mired down in talking about talks.

And that’s As I See It.

A look at the new world.

Out with the old and in with the new world concept as visioned by 100 of the nation’s health experts who discussed the best way to combat obesity, reduce illness and promote a healthy lifestyle. When morgues start buying fork lifts to cope with the handling of the obese, then it must be time to discuss the best way to combat obesity, reduce illness and promote a healthy lifestyle.

SMOKING would be banned for everyone born next year, junk food would be taxed and everyone would be subjected to a fitness test by 2020.
By comparison, the cost of healthy food, including fruit and vegetables, would be reduced to reflect its low environmental impact and obvious health benefits.

Health Minister Nicola Roxon said one idea put forward in a submission was an annual national fitness test where citizens would receive a financial incentive if they pass.

Health stream participants in the 2020 summit also discussed increasing public education about how death can be a “positive experience” to avoid patients panicking when they reach hospital emergency departments.

How about this idea?

Nutritionist Rosemary Stanton suggested increasing the cost of artificial and packaged food. “I actually think we need to price foods according to their environmental and health impact, rather than harping at people to eat this or that,” she said.

“All the artificial foods would become very expensive and the healthy foods would be cheaper.”

The free market system is out, the New World Control Center is in.

Individual responsibility is out.

Accountability is out.

Personal choices are out.

Say, I’ve got a good idea too. Require people to get a treadmill that is programmed to their fingerprint and will not work unless their body mass measurement remains on the machine during the required work out time. For every hour on the treadmill, the TV would work for two hours. Here’s another: ban the sales of those cozy soft recliners.

Taking a peak at the New World Order.

Eat your spinach kid, it’s good for you.

Authorities snatching the children, Virginia, Texas style.

Published by Arnie under Nanny State, Welfare

The Texas FDLS child snatching scenario is not a new thing in America.  Two years ago, authorities snatched a 3 month old child from the home of her parents, Nancy Hey and Christopher Slitor, because of an anonymous, unproven allegation of child abuse by starvation, even though the child was at her proper weight when she was removed from the home.  The Texas case is because of an anonymous unproven accusation of sex abuse.  In Arlington County, they took just one child.  In Texas, the police dressed in full body armor, took 416 children.   The Arlington County parents still do not have the child back and it’s two years after numerous hearings and legal battles costing the parents $350,000.   Two years of lawyerism and now the judge determines it would be more harmful to the child to remove her from the temporary foster parents home.

“Judge Almand later used the baby’s inappropriate removal to justify making the separation permanent, saying it would be too “traumatic” to return Sabrina to her natural parents. So, when Sabrina turned 3 April 3rd, she didn’t blow out her birthday candles in the kitchen where her heart-broken parents still keep her empty highchair.”

Consider the logical extremes.

It shows that if County social workers seize your baby, based on false allegations of neglect, and put your baby in foster care long enough, you might never get your child back, even if you prove yourself innocent, because the courts will say it’s in “the best interests of the child” that your baby stay with the foster parents he’s gotten used to living with.  (Taking that logic to its ultimate conclusion, a kidnapper who kidnapped a newborn from a hospital and then escaped prosecution on a technicality could keep the child, because the child would have bonded with the kidnapper by the time the kidnapper was apprehended).   Read more of the details . . .

These are not isolated cases.

“Over the past twenty years, parents all over the country have discovered the nightmare that the child welfare system can needlessly inflict on families.”   More.

A runaway child protective services system is not high on the list of concerns of most civil libertarians these days. But when an infant is seized by state protective services in order to administer a spinal tap — which even the child’s doctor concedes is optional — it’s time to pay attention.

A mother in Vermont called CIR a couple of years ago because she was being threatened with jail because she wanted to home school her son. School officials got a judge to declare the mother guilty of neglect to force him back into a special education program.

But how about this as a motive for child protection services to seize children. “In England, as in the United States, local governments receive cash incentives from the national government for adopting out children. In England, this has led to the seizure of thousands of children from their natural parents by social workers hoping to receive bonuses.”

I prefer to dismiss that as the motivation behind these child seizers and just believe that these social workers have been bitten with the Nanny State concept prevalent in liberal ideology “It takes a Village.”

As I see It.
