Ketchup Request Form and the Black Friday Crowd..

Yeowee!   What is going on in this crazy modern world of ours?   According to the fast food industry, the America adult cannot be trusted with a little independence.

According to representatives from the nation’s six largest fast food chains, Americans use more than $18 million worth of ketchup per year, with nearly $7 million of the tomato-based condiment ending up smeared on the backs of chairs, on nearby tables, or in the hair of small children, and in some cases simply spilt in large, repulsive puddles on the floor.  More of the report.

And so the fast food industry, consisting of those mega operations like McDonalds and Burger King, are removing the self-serve ketchup dispensers and instituting a 2 package ketchup rule with each Burger meal.  And if a patron wants more than that they must fill out the Ketchup Request Form, which must be verified by the manager, an ID presented and a reason why additional ketchup is required.

And then we wonder why our federal government treats the average Joe American like little tots who need to be ruled because there are so many adults acting like little tots, little 2 year olds who kick up a hissy fit it they don’t get their way. . . immediately.   Whatever it takes be the first in line to gather up the bargains on Black Friday, and get out of my way when the doors open.

Time out corners don’t work.

Liberal policies don’t work.

Freedom is not working.

Independence is not working.

Dependency is not working.

Personal accountability is not working.

Responsibility is not working.

Spanking is out of the question.

Don’t offend me now, or else.

Churches are not working.  You get the same rush to get the front row seats.  You get the same actions in the parking lots.  You get the same rudeness by the kids running down the hallways to get to the game center.   You put up with their screaming tots at the restaurant after church.

So, what’s a politician to do?   Create more laws.  Make themselves the Nanny.  Reform health Care.  Reform the schools.  Reform the banking industry.  Reform the auto industry.   Reform the insurance industry.   Reform the food labeling industry.   Reform the agriculture industry.  Reform the energy industry.  Reform the alternative energy industry.  Reform the light bulb industry.  Reform the immigration rules.   Reform the defense operations.  Reform the Libraries.  Reform the marriage laws.  Reward the non offensiveness indoctrination industry.  Reward the Diversity industry.  Pass out checks when people want a new car, a new home, or install new energy star plus appliances replacing the old clunkers.  Reform the Constitution.   Dag gone it, colleges have specified specific locations on campuses that are free-speech zones.   All other areas of campus is restricted to approved speech no weapons areas.  A boy scout gets suspended from school for bringing his camping utensil to school to eat his lunch because administrators have no tolerance for that kind of stuff.  Straight talking conservatives get dis-invited to speak at commencement celebrations as the opposing side would shout them down and disrupt the speech and spoil the ceremonies.

On and on it goes, and where the country will go from this spinning age is up for grabs, but it currently looks like the black Friday crowd has been running things.
