Senator calls for Investigation into “climategate”.
The Copenhagen UN Climate Change conference is coming up soon which could subject the US to all sorts of profound globally induced regulations upon our very own economy. All because some folks in high places have received and believed the reports from the UN that global warming was settled science. But it’s not. Over 31,000 scientists have said so.
Yet, even so, the US powers that be want to forge ahead with the stuff that the UN recommends subjecting the US to the current cap and trade tax bills pending in congress.
Fortunately we’ve got one Senator with the wherewithal to combat the liberal statists.
Senator Inhofe (R-OK), Ranking Member on Environment and Public Works Committee says he intends to call for an investigation “On the IPCC and on the United Nations on the way that they cooked the science to make this thing look as if the science was settled, when all the time of course we knew it was not.”
Inhofe also plans to bring a “truth squad” to the Copenhagen conference.
Barbara Boxer took over as the chairman of the committee when the demos won the majority last year.
